An Endless Series
Most of the "past paintings" on the Art Projects page share two characteristics: each is an open ended series and each series makes use of a formal structure based on the dimensions of the support. While these characteristics made the series interesting to paint, they were not interesting enough to continue painting forever.
However, the two shared characteristics lend the series to continuation through digital processing. On this page a Python program takes a random number of images, then combines them cumulatively using randomly interacting processes from the Python Imaging Library (PIL), to create a new image in an endless series of computer art.
